Ramsey Grand Jury Meets Again--(KUSA) Several staff members of the state attorney general's office went before the Ramsey grand jury today in Boulder. They were among a group of people who spent about five hours at the Boulder County Justice Center. The testimony is secret. We do know that the attorney general's office has offered to give legal advice in the case.

New DNA testing method at heart of murder case (TC Record-Eagle) A commonly accepted form of DNA testing - using DNA from a cell's nucleus - could not be used on a pubic hair found at the crime scene and another strand of hair found, because neither contained the hair root where living cells can be found. So prosecutors turned to mitochondrial DNA, a new form of analysis that can test dead cell matter extracted from hair or bones.
