 IN MEMORY OF THE PRIVACKY FAMILY They were massacred on Sunday November 30, 1998, by an 18 year old family member, Seth Privacky. JOHN J. PRIVACKY, 78, was the father of Stephen and grandfather of Seth and Jedediah. He was a longtime widower. STEPHEN C. PRIVACKY, 50, was the husband of Linda and father of Seth and Jedediah. He taught science at Reeths-Puffer Intermediate School for 25 years. LINDA A. PRIVACKY, 49, Stephen's wife and mother of Jedediah and Seth, worked as a receptionist in a medical office in Muskegon. JEDEDIAH J. PRIVACKY, 19, was a student at Muskegon Community College.  IN MEMORY OF APRIL BOSS April was a Privacky family friend, who was also murdered on Sunday November 30, 1998, by , Seth Privacky. APRIL A. BOSS, 19, was in her first year at Muskegon Community College. She was studying to be an elementary-school teacher . April's parents were pleased that she was dating Jed, saying the Privackys were an All-American family. Family members described April as deeply religious and full of life. |

He first fatally shot a girl he had dated and then her friend, before wounding seven other students. Later, police found the body of his mother in her red-brick ranch house. She had been stabbed. |

  Linda Huff, Idaho State Police trooper Huff, 33, was shot to death last June outside the Coeur d'Alene office of the Idaho State Police. She was the first female officer to die in the line of duty in Idaho Linda's son Clinton, won the fifth-grade division of the Lions Club's patriotic essay contest recently, for his essay on his American hero. ``My American hero is my mom,'' he wrote. ``She is my hero because of her bravery. She was a police officer. Unfortunately she was shot and killed while in the line of duty. ``She was a good person. We did many things together. We loved each other's company. We often laughed over the silliestthings. But most of all, she was there for me. ``No matter what the future has in store for me, mom will always be my American hero. I love you, mom.'' |

   Two year old Corey James Edkin and 10-year-old Joline Faye Witt are children who lived just a few miles apart in central Pennsylvania. Both children were found missing from their beds by their Mothers. Just before their terrifying discoveries, both Mothers were alerted by doors in their homes that had been left open. At the time of these apparent abductions, several other people were present in the homes, and the parents of both children were experiencing domestic problems and were separated. Corey and Joline both went missing in the early morning hours on a Sunday, but despite these and other similarities, the dates were almost 11 years apart. Corey has been missing since Sunday, October 12, 1986 and has never been found. Joline disappeared on Sunday, July 27, 1997 but her body was found in a wooded area six weeks later on September 6, 1997 the victim of a homicide. We pray for the families and a solution in both of these tragic cases. |

 A Tribute to the parents of all missing children of stranger abductions A special prayer needs to be said each day for those parents who wait days, weeks, months, years, sometimes decades, for the return of their loved ones. Many of these parents never know the fate of their child. The difficulty of an open wound must be unbearable. To go to bed each night...praying that tomorrow...maybe they will return. Unlike runaways or parental/family abductions, these parents have no idea who or what type of monster may have their child. Even though, it is horrible to think of the pain any parent goes through when their child is missing...these parents have no answers, no clues, all they have is the hope one day their child may return. Maybe a grown man or woman. It will not matter...these children are loved and missed each day and forever. My heart goes out to all of these parents.
