    Glen Darrell Hampton Jr. was convicted of rape and eight other counts in an Oklahoma County courtroom Monday. Hampton, 44, was accused of raping a 42-year-old Oklahoma City woman in 1998 after picking her up in his van, which was equipped with 2-inch-thick foam padding that acted as soundproofing.
