    Orderud murders as basis for crime novel -- (Aftenpost) The British crime author Minette Walters intends to write a novel based on Norway's sensational triple murder case involving members of the Orderud family. Four people have been charged in connection with the murder of Anne Orderud Paust and her elderly parents at the family farm in Sørum outside Oslo in 1999. One of the defendants is the victims' brother and son.

    Girl's murder suspect held in U.S. -- (CNN) A suspect wanted in connection with the rape and murder of a British schoolgirl in France in 1996 has been arrested in the U.S. Francisco Arce Montez, 50, was arrested in March on suspicion of burglary, trespass and lewd and lascivious behaviour in an unconnected incident, a Miami Police spokesman said. Montez has been sought by police investigating the murder of 13-year-old Caroline Dickinson.
