Fri Oct 15 2004 09:28:01 ![]() CASSANDRA KINDLON Albany, NY Police say body may be missing woman's --(Troy Record) Police searching a heavily wooded area near Delaware Avenue Thursday morning found human remains 20 feet down an embankment off of Normans Kill Drive, a little-used road through a heavily wooded area that leads to the Stevens Farm, where police horses are stabled. Police Department spokesman Det. James Miller said about a dozen officers were conducting a planned search for Cassandra Kindlon, a young mother of two who disappeared in mid-May, when they found the skeletal human remains at about 10:30 a.m. The identity of this person was not immediately clear, Miller said. An autopsy was begun at Albany Medical Center after the body was discovered, but stopped for the day before being completed. Miller said medical examiners will continue today and rely primarily on dental records to identify the body.
